Capital Bikeshare offers a convenient way to get around Washington, DC; Arlington, VA; Alexandria, VA; Montgomery County, MD; Prince George's County, MD; Fairfax County, VA; and the City of Falls Church, VA. It's a healthy and green transportation alternative, and makes commuting to class a lot more fun.

Here is our current list of colleges and universities enrolled in our Capital Bikeshare University Membership Program. Look for your school below to find out more about the discount you can receive.

Schools Enrolled:

*Capital Bikeshare memberships include unlimited trips under 45 minutes on classic bikes. Trips of 45 minutes or longer incur usage fees – see the Annual Membership page for more details.

How It Works

1. Enroll
Assign a program manager who will serve as the point-person for your organization. Contact your local jurisdiction to get started.

2. Get Your Code
We'll provide you with a unique program code to distribute to your students, who will use it to receive their discount when joining Capital Bikeshare.

3. Spread the Word
We’ll send you internal marketing materials to promote this new perk to your students. Each new University Program Member is also eligible for one complimentary on-site Everyday Biking Class, courtesy of your local jurisdiction (must have a minimum of 20 attendees to take place).
